KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), the flagship institute of Karnatak Law Society was incepted in 1979. Spread across a sprawling mango meadow of over 20 Acres. GIT has the honour of sheltering over 4500 students and about 300 highly qualified and motivated workforce.

GIT, a permanent affiliate and Autonomous institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University is accredited by National Board of Accreditation and NAAC A+.

Research and innovation has been key strength of GIT. A band of research scholars pursue for Ph.D. and M.Sc. (Engineering) by Research through approved research centers in the departments of Mechanical, E & C, E & E, CS & E, Civil Engg., Physics, Chemistry, Maths,  Management Studies and MCA.
